This journey is meticulously crafted, beginning with the genesis of photons within Unity, a powerful game engine known for its versatility and potential for visual manipulation.
These photons embark on a journey, channeled into VDMX, a VJing software developed by VIDVOX. Here, Moore gains unprecedented control over the visual output, allowing him to manipulate the imagery in real-time using custom GLSL shaders.
Within VDMX, Moore divides the feed into multiple layers, each serving as a discrete plane for exploration. This layering technique provides a multidimensional space in which Moore can experiment with different visual effects and distortions, building upon each other to create GLITCHWEAR's signature aesthetic.
At the heart of GLITCHWEAR lies the manipulation of these layers using GLSL shaders, a programming language specifically designed for graphics rendering. Moore meticulously crafts intricate stacks of shaders, leveraging mathematical algorithms to distort and transform the underlying photons. This process imbues each garment with a unique visual identity, characterized by glitches, artifacts, and distortions that defy traditional notions of beauty.
